Save lives now
€90 Pakistan Family Winter Emergency Kit will provide an entire family with warm winter clothing to protect them from the bitter weather.
In the aftermath of this year’s catastrophic floods, Pakistan’s acutely vulnerable families need our protection this winter.
Almost half the population is struggling below the poverty line, living hand to mouth, and now the damage and disruption caused by the devastating floods and soaring inflation is hitting the most vulnerable the hardest. This winter, the effects of climate change are expected to bring even more extreme rain, along with excessive snowfall, and bitter sub-zero temperatures across Kashmir’s mountainous regions.
In response, we are providing 400 of the most destitute families in the most exposed regions, specifically those with orphaned children, with Winter Emergency Kits containing warm winter clothing. By donating to this life-saving appeal you can provide a family with a warm woollen sweater for each child in the family, a large woollen shawl for mothers and each girl, as well as caps, gloves, socks and mufflers for each child and a warm quilt for each member of the family.
By supporting our Pakistan Winter Family Emergency Appeal, you can help ensure no one is left behind in the bleakest of winters.
Why give with Human Appeal

But thanks to your donations we were able to support 8,548 people in Pakistan last winter. Our project focused on supporting orphaned and vulnerable families in Kashmir. In all, we supported 4,103 children and 2,267 women across 1,315 families with winter kits containing nutritious food staples and warm quilts. Thank you for helping to ensure no one was left behind.
