Yemen Ramadan Food Pack

“Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

€140 – provide iftar and suhoor to a fasting family-of-seven in Yemen for a month – a total of 420 meals.

Over 23 million Yemenis need humanitarian help. 90% of food is imported – most of it wheat from Ukraine or Russia, which has sent prices sky-rocketing. Malnutrition rates are among the highest in the world – 2.2 million small children need treatment for malnutrition.

Give €140 today, and we’ll make sure it gets to a vulnerable family this Ramadan, leaving you free to worship, fast, and remember Allah, safe in the knowledge that your charity is sorted and in expert hands. Multiply your blessings this Ramadan.

What will each donation provide?

Each parcel will contain staple local foods, ingredients for Ramadan, and nutritionally-rich items, providing each family member with 2,100 calories per day.

Donate a food parcel in Yemen, and you’ll provide a family of at least seven members with over 100 kilograms of nutritious food containing 36 cans of beans and 75 kilograms of flour, as well as rice, sugar, salt, oil and dates.

When you donate, we’ll provide nutritious month-long food parcels to 18,540 families, helping 129,780 in in Ibb, Sana’a.

Across all locations, we’ll be focusing on families of unpaid employees and conflict-affected teachers, as well as families with members who are orphaned, disabled, blind, have kidney failure, or have blood conditions.

Why give with Human Appeal?

We’ve been feeding fasting families for over 30 years, at which time we’ve developed streamlined programmes that put the needs of the communities we help first. Last Ramadan, your charity allowed us to provide 178,627 people with iftar across 10 countries, including 34,913 in Yemen.

This year, spread mercy to a vulnerable family affected by sickness, disability, and conflict in Yemen.

Share an iftar with a vulnerable family, and reap the mercy of the blessed month of Ramadan.

Give mercy now.
