Palestine Emergency Response Fund

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "The likeness of the believers in regard to mutual love, mercy, and kindness is that of a body. When any part aches, the whole body aches." (Bukhari)

In this blessed month, Palestine is once again facing a dangerous escalation in violence, with over 150 recently injured whilst in prayer at the holy site of Masjid Al Aqsa. Reap the multiplied blessings by helping us to provide emergency aid, food, water and medical care this Ramadan. Palestine needs your mercy now.

€120 - Provide emergency food and medical aid to vulnerable people in Palestine.

€250 – Provide a vulnerable Palestinian in Gaza with surgery for a critical health condition.

€250 – Help us to repair a damaged home in Gaza.

€45 – Provide emergency medicines and healthcare at medical centres and hospitals in Gaza.

Last Ramadan, Palestinians in Gaza faced terrifying nighttime bombings which killed 278 people and injured over 9,000. Over 77,000 people had to flee their homes and around 30 clinics and hospitals were damaged, and Gaza’s only COVID-19 test centre was destroyed.

One year on, six months on, Gaza is still in a state of emergency. Medical centres are struggling to cope, thousands have lost their homes and livelihoods, and water networks still need repairing.

You have the opportunity to act as a lifeline for Palestinians who have endured for so long, and are still suffering, unable to seek peace in this beloved month.

Our work this Ramadan

80% of people in Gaza are dependent on aid, trapped by the siege in a cycle of poverty, unemployment, and hunger.

But with your help in this month of mercy, we want to provide:

• food and medical supplies to those affected by the conflict in Palestine,

• weekly fresh food deliveries to help families to eat nutritious iftars,

• hot meals in Gaza,

• surgery for 400 patients who need operations,

• solar panels across five schools, helping them to stay open during power cuts

• olive trees to struggling farmers

• repairing damaged homes

All of our Ramadan projects are Zakat-applicable, and you can calculate what you owe with our easy-to-use Zakat calculator.

Why give with Human Appeal

We’ve been changing lives in Palestine for 30 years. Our recent work includes disinfecting the entire water network of Gaza, building a desalination plant for 15,000 people at Al Aqsa University, and helping to fight the critical medical crisis by providing tens of thousands of medical supplies. Last year, we helped 2,047,971 people in Palestine through food security, medical, water and sanitation projects.

Spread mercy this Ramadan, and reap the multiplied blessings of the holy month.
