Help provide back-to-school kits for orphans
Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. - Malcolm X
€30 will provide back-to-school kits containing stationeries like pencils, erasers, notebooks, sharpeners, pencil cases and school bags.
In September, schools around the country welcome young learners back to school excited and equipped to start the new school year.
But, for thousands of orphaned children around the world, the new school year is a reminder of their struggles to access quality education.
Most children cannot afford to buy stationeries and books to enhance their educational experience. They need our help to change their lives for the better.
Education is a vital part of a society’s growth and progress. When children are educated, they can significantly contribute to their families and society’s stability. They can uplift communities.
Our Back to School campaign aims to deliver school kits to orphaned children in countries like Somalia, Yemen, Palestine, Sudan, Pakistan and Iraq.
Some of these children had a tough year. In Pakistan, the recent floods swept away homes, schools and roads. The conflict in Gaza left thousands of Palestinian children without homes and any personal belongings. In Somalia, the famine has led to migration displacing hundreds of thousands of families searching for food and water.
Poverty and conflict are the most obstinate barriers to education. Please help us support orphaned children this school year by providing a child with a back-to-school kit.
Your support will ensure that they have a chance at a brighter future.
