Gaza is on the brink of completely running out of safe water. The solution is in your hands
Over 90% of the water from Gaza’s sole natural water source is contaminated and unsafe to drink. The water crisis is affecting every one of Gaza's 1.76m people. Acute Diarrhoea, parasite infections, ‘blue baby’ syndrome and liver and kidney disease are on the rise, and children are particularly at risk.
This means that the already impoverished population are spending as much as one third of their income on buying water from street vendors – most of them unregulated which means that even this water is frequently unsafe.
Thanks to our supporters we are already able to provide 200,000 Gaza schoolchildren with clean water.
Now though we aim to build a new desalination facility on the coast of Gaza that will provide clean water for another 600,000 people. It will also provide much needed jobs to the local workforce. Raising income levels as well improving the health of many currently desperate Palestinians.
Nobody should be subjected to drinking dirty disease laden water. With your support we can change this dreadful situation: you provide the solutionHelp Rebuild Gaza's Infrastructure
