There are indications that fighting is immanent in the North of Syria in the coming days. This will have disastrous implications for the more than 3.4 million people there who have endured seven years of war.
This has brought with it a breakdown of normal life. Getting access to food, shelter and healthcare is very difficult for everyone and hunger and preventable disease are at crisis levels.
Human Appeal has worked with the people of Idlib from the start of the war. We have hospitals and health clinics as well as a massive food and clean water distribution program - supported by numerous UN agencies - bringing life-saving aid to the civilian population there.Support our Syrian Healthcare Fund
All of this is under threat if fighting is to break out in the region
This means that this lifeline is in danger.
We are a neutral organisation who are only concerned for the well-being of innocent civilians, but are calling on all those who are preparing for violence to pull back from conflict in the interests of preserving the lives of ordinary citizens.
In the meantime, we have to prepare for the worst and so are putting in place as much vital relief as possible: food and medical aid a priority.Support Syria in Crisis Appeal
