Cyclists Complete Challenge

At 21.30 on Saturday, 6th July 2013, three dedicated cyclists, Ibrahim Al-Kaddo, Moosa Patel and Shaheed Omar completed the gruelling 20 hours long cycling challenge from Cork to Dublin in aid of people of Syria. After months of training and preparation, the cyclists left Cork at 3am in the morning of Saturday, 6th July 2013 while escorted by the HAI team.

They succeeded in raising over €7,000!

Throughout the challenge they had to endure some of the unusually hot weather but they persistently kept going while their progress was continually updated on Facebook & Twitter and cheered on by their loyal family and friends.  The finish line was at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland, were the team was warmly welcomed and cheered on by a group of supporters, family and friends.

Well done to the team and everyone who has supported them in raising the money for the people of Syria!
