Orphan Welfare Centre in Jerusalem

The orphanage will house 60 orphans with plans for many more in the near future.Human Appeal has just launched building of an Orphan Welfare Centre in Jerusalem. The centre, the first of its kind, will house 60 of the most needy Palestinian orphans, with plans for many more in the near future. It will also provide services for 6,000 other orphans and their guardians. Once more funding becomes available, we hope to house many more!

The amount of orphans in Jerusalem can only be described as a crisis, so safe havens like this are desperately needed.

The 1510 square metre site is under construction and being built by our partner on the ground.

The Centre will be a holistic environment, making sure the children's social, psychological, educational, economic and religious needs are catered for, to ensure they have the best possible future.

Caring for orphans has always been at the forefront of our concern. Human Appeal began with just 20 orphans in 1991. 23 years later, we sponsor over 65,000 orphans across the world, with 20,000 in Palestine alone!

You can support our work with orphans today and change lives.
