#GetActiveHAII: Get Active With Human Appeal Ireland

Our deepest thanks to all those who cycled, fundraised and donated to this challenge on Saturday.

There's comprehensive coverage of they day on the facebook event page here: Event Link>> with videos and photos of the whole day.

We have very nearly acheived our target of 500 food parcels. You can still donate to our cyclists on their personal fundraising pages (click on their photos below) to help us get to that nmagic 500 figure.

Make a change and put that leisure time to use by taking part in our #GetActivewithHAII campaign and help families suffering from the conflict in Syria.

The Need:

More than 640,000 people have fled the conflict in Syria to neighbouring Jordan. As many as 120,000 are living in refugee camps. Many families are facing pressing problems of food insecurity. We will be working in Jordan to help some of those most in need. Our programme of food parcels will provide for thousands of families, helping relieve the daily pressures they experience in the search for food.

The challenge: #fillingthegap

Our challenge is to cycle the Sally Gap in Co Wicklow on Saturday 21st May

Cycle 100Km

From Marlay to Sally Gap and back

Feed 10 Syrian families in Jordan.

Our parcels contain essentials such as Rice, Bulgur Wheat, Lentils, chick Peas, Pasta, Olives, Oil, Tea, Tinned Tomatoes, Canned Tuna, Salt. They cost €50 each, so we're hoping that you will raise €500 from your friends, family and workmates to provide a food parcel for 10 families. We'll help you reach your target with advice and tips, but you'd be surprised just how quickly you'll reach that goal.
